A woman was found dead in a motel room on Tuesday, KPRC Local 2 reported. Houston police were called out to the Ship Channel Motel in the 8300 block of La Porte Road about 7 a.m. Investigators said the woman, whose name was not released, appeared to have been beaten to death by her husband.
